Did you know that D. Brian’s Deli and Catering has been in business for 22 years – and all that time we have been locally owned and operated.

We try and buy from local producers and distributors as much as possible.

History

D.Brian’s Deli and Catering was founded in 1986 by Doug Sams with the goal of providing fresh and healthy deli food to office workers and office events during office hours.

The quick serve format was chosen because of its speed and flexibility. Consumers want to get closer to the source, and this speedy format allows them to customize each individual order by ordering directly from their chef. In this manner, we are able to combine the quality products of a sit-down restaurant with the time-saving convenience of counter service.

Mission and Core Values

The Company’s mission is to provide a remarkable deli dining experience; one in which you will want to return again and again with your friends and co-workers. We understand that our goal is to create loyal customers and repeat business, so we have carefully chosen our ingredients to include only the freshest and very best. Quality is the only way to go, and it gives your company a good name. Quality service is just as important as quality products, so the Company has identified five core values that guide all decision-making. The first one is to provide a sense of urgency. Our customers are striving to do more with less time, and they need a nutritious meal that saves them time and powers them through their challenging daily routine. The second core value recognized that the most spotless restaurants are also the most profitable, so we have developed a 100 point checklist to ensure that the hard work of sanitation is accomplished every day. Third, we want our locations to be a fun place to work and to eat, so we strive to maintain an enjoyable atmosphere, even when things get really, really hectic. Next, we recognize that no business can succeed without superior treatment of its employees, so the Company has developed a superior compensation package for all of its employees. Finally comes the old fashioned concept of value which we call customer profit. We have matched prices to our products and services in such a way that our customers, upon finishing their meals, will sense that they received more from the Company than the Company got from them; ergo, a customer profit was delivered!
